Permissions
Administrative access to player management is based on the permissions settings in the Roles and Permissions section of the General Settings.
The admin will require a club-wide permission, e.g., Export Rosters. Certain player management permissions are sometimes also granted as team scoped permissions to teamstaff just for their own teams.
A player contact role has been defined in Byga. In addition to the parent of a player with broad player and team access (now labeled “Player contact”), there is a “Player fan” role intended to provide a more limited access (e.g., for friends and extended family) to their player’s team and player information. The role is found in the Scoped Role section within the Admin section of Byga.
Users with Player contact or Player fan roles are identified in the player details page and identified as “Limited”.
